Been in search of the best sushi, and found paradise. The sushi and sashimi was all so fresh and decent size pieces. The service was on point and the staff very friendly. They also have a good selection on sake to match. Definitely need to return again. I have been to many Japanese restaurants on the east coast and this is at the top of my list. I will tell all my NY friends about Zen.

The sushi was good. But, other cooked food/main courses are not good. Poor presentation and taste. Waitress there seem to have difficult to understand English. In general, it's a good place to chill and drink, not worth the $$ for the food unless you are going for sushi.

I just left Zen. The place has been a consistent disappointment. Tonight was a classic: bad service, bad food, and bad value. First, it took forever to get another round of sushi, which would usually be understandable when the place is busy. But it wasn't. Second, I had the worst salmon skin handroll that I have ever had in my life. I don't think these folks know what salmon skin is supposed to be like. Finally, after those disappointments, my bill had the sales tax on it, even though today is "tax free" day in the Commonwealth. The experience convinces me never to go back -- despite having been there many times and having had a positive experience on quite a few occasions.

Zen does a great upscale night in. Excellent service, friendly and always on point! Only thing to note is pricey, but hey you get what you pay for, get it once and you'll keep going back for more.

Zen is excellent. They always have the freshest sushi and everything is presented very well. Never had a bad meal.

Zen has really fresh seafood, their Tuna Torch Sushi is tender with a fresh grill aroma. It'a great place for a big group of friends to just hang out. The price is really reasonable for the quality of the sushi. They even have an extensive list of import wine/sake and beer. The lunch special is well priced.
