    Great wings

I'm about to place my third order at Wings Express. So far, I've experienced friendly service when ordering and received consistently good quality food. I'd order more frequently if they were open a bit later!

So disappointed. Bad night, I hope, but...

We ordered Wings Express Brighton via Foodler. I've enjoyed pick-up from their Waltham location at work many times, and their wings are, hands down, the best I've ever had. This experience w/ the Brighton location was incredibly disappointing. After 75+ min, we called to inquire. They said the driver would arrive w/in 15 min. We were concerned about the warmth and freshness of the food, but polite. Lo and behold, approximately 15 minutes later the food arrived. The driver informed me it was fresh and hot, and that he'd been dispached directly from the restaurant. No word about the original order. I'd be impressed w/ their service and willingness to correct an error if the order had been edible when it arrived. They rushed to correct the delivery issue, I think. The chicken was underdone (which can't be eaten, of course). Special order requests were ignored (extra sauce on dishes (which we'd paid for). Side orders to combo meals were forgotten completely (which we'd paid for). One of three sauces was altogether wrong. It was after 9pm by the time the inedible second-pass arrived, so we ate fluffenutters for dinner. I really don't need that kind of sugar at that hour, but I have to make some kind of dinner happen and cooking wasn't an option at that time of night even if we wanted to. Another hour? We've ordered Wings Express from the Brighton location before. It's never held a candle to the Waltham location, but they've been decent and I keep hoping they'll take the same ingredients and make them as good as Waltham. Either way, they've certainly been fine, which explains my marks. Food quality tonight was a "0". (As we couldn't safely eat the food at all, after waiting 90+ minutes). Did taste the sauces though just to see... Sigh.) Service tonight was a "1". I do believe they tried, but badly and rushed, and with undercooked, wrong, and forgotten food. I've padded these numbers to represent other perfectly adequate (if uninspired) experiences we've had with them in the past.

    overpriced food, poor service

I live close to Wings Express and decided tonight to try it for the first time. I read some reviews one of which said the food is good but the service is incompentent. Anyway I never go by the reviews usually but this time I should. Someone was complaining that when they order something is usually missing. Got my husband to pick up the food to bring home for me and kids and sure enough one order is missing. I call them only to be accused of having someone else's sandwich! I didn't go back. They would'nt deliver the remainder and all in all what I did get was not great. The fries are the worst I've had in a long time and needless to say I won't be going back again. How hard can it be to take and order and get it together?? Overpriced food for the quality and service of food received.

    Wings Express

I just tried this place for the first time. I picked up a "Regular" order of Boneless Buffalo "Hot". The "regular" is basically their smaller order, and it is fairly large, enough for 2 or 3 people. The breading of the chicken is basically saturated in the buffalo sauce, but it is not like dripping in sauce, in fact there is no visible liquid sauce. The flavor is quite good and the chicken is very very tender. Most of the peices kinda fall apart when picking up with a fork, which i think this is a good thing. I'll probably be going here again.
