The food was authentic and delicious. I am writing in because I cannot imagine any bad review. To me it was a big treat because the food was authentic and great tasting and because we got excellent service. I found the people working in the restaurant to be very interested in what their customers think. It was so busy when I first went there... graduation night. You can imagine. I have been back many times since because the food and service were both good. I am glad each time I return. This is not a "typical Americanized restaurant," and it is authentic. If people want Americanized food, this is not the place and for a true dining experience that makes you feel like a World traveler right here in Boston, it is great! I say go, experience, enjoy! so i went to victoria seafood restaurant with my family once and their beef teriyaki left me a great impression. Then i went there to eat with my bf again and we ordered a twin lobster. It was not as great and tasty as we expected it to be. It was salty. After we finished and paid the bill, a waitress came up to us and complain about not giving enough tips. I was like Seriously??? I will never going back there again!!

Sure, they might be a bit hostile at times, but their lunch special is only five dollars. The food is filling and thier hot-and-sour-soup is amazing! I would recomend Victoria seafood if you want a good meal that is served quickly and has a price that is unheard of!

OK so they got a cheap lobster special but that may not be enough to overcome a lousy attitude toward customers. When I complained about the soup you would have thought I insulted the restaurant and a big aragument ensued. Rather silly. Sorry but back to the other 1,000 much better chinese restaurants in this neighborhood.

Nice place to eat, good food. However, the service is not good.

Wow. Ian's got quite the high horse there. Really...save the politics for a different forum, mmmmk? Victoria's a solid Chinese restaurant if you're looking for more authentic fare but don't feel like venturing into Chinatown to get it. I enjoy the pan friend noodles and bok choy myself, as well as the lobster with ginger and scallions.
