Definitely worth trying
Sure, the staff isn't the most professional, but I think that's part of its charm. You feel like you're in good company. The food is delicious and inventive, and unbelievably cheap! The specials are always great-last week I had the almond gazpacho (perfect for a summer a afternoon) and the cheddar, spinach, tomato, and tempeh bacon pizza. I'd recommend tempeh bacon on anything! Not normally a fan of things made to taste like meat, but I couldn't resist.

delicious, fun, cozy
one of the tastiest and least expensive meals I've had in a long time! $13 for two full, high-quality meals.

Yummy, healthy, cheap, and unique
I love this place. It has a lot of creative vegetarian dishes and has the feel of a casual co-op dining room. Great value -- I go here when I'm hungry and feeling poor. Very limited seating on evenings when shows are at Passim. Cash only.

Good food, subpar restaurant
Veggie Planet has some very tasty and creative vegetarian dishes (and all can be made vegan, if you ask - which I don't). But the restaurant does not feel like it is run by professional adults.
