Fresh new concept to downtown
UDG or Uno Due Go in downtown crossing has been a terrific addition to the local eateries that either deliver burgers/tacos fast food for lunch, or the nearby over priced bars and restaurants. UDG delivers fresh food, made to order in a market place setting. Its not the typical cattle line, order your food number and leave. Think Whole Foods meets Starbucks. The food stations have different items for breakfast and dinner and the service is always great. Parking is difficult, but its smack in the middle of downtown, so thousands of people walk by there daily and it makes you think its set up for serving breakfast and dinner to the daily masses of tourists and locals alike. The salads and sandwiches are great, the soups change daily and the coffees are fair trade and organic. One small complaint..... No espresso machine. Otherwise, its a food haven for those who want food prepared fresh, per order and the way you want it, smack in the middle of downtown Boston.
