    Amazing Tapas!

I came here with friends to celebrate. We had wonderful Sangria and amazing food. The garlic shrimp were tasty and satisfying. The corn dish was outstanding-covered in a butter/sauce/cheese. The tuna ceviche was awesome (totally worth the mercury intake), empanadas were crisp and had a great sauce, and the green peppers were outstanding. All of our food came at once, which was a little crazy, but we just kept eating and loving it! The churros at the end were the perfect ending with a spicy chocolate sauce.

    Best Tapas in Boston

The tapas here are so good, and reasonably priced for the quality. The waitstaff and bartenders are extremely friendly. The only problem is that the restaurant and bar area are very small and the kitchen closes at 10. We tried to go 3 times before we finally were able to get our names in and sit at the bar while we waited to be seated at a reasonable hour.

    Great, great, great!

Was taken here for my birthday and everything was perfect! The food was excellent, only wish I could have eaten more. Best 'Dark & Stormy' I've had and I've had a lot and our waitress was very attentative and knew the menu inside out. Can't wait to go again.

    Delicious

Great Paella. Try the garbanzo beans with chorizo and spinach.

    Great Food But Not Functional

The problem with Toro is they serve wonderful items like Paella in an authentic iron skillet, but the table they seat you at can barely hold the skillet, never mind your plates, glasses etc! The other problem is the lighting - it is so low and the menu print is so small the wait staff carry small flashlights that they offer to all guests so you can see the menu. Those of us not quite ready for reading glasses have a big problem making out the menu. My friend had to assist me. Besides that, the food is fantastic. So if they get the lighting and seating right this place will be dynamite.
