my summer seafood destination
This is my place for outdoor dining when in Boston. I am an occasional visitor and I need a reliable place where the food is good - dosen't have to be great, just reliable. For whole belly clams, lobster and for the other seafood that I crave when I'm in town, this place fills the bill. There might be better food elsewhere but as a transient I don't have the opportunity to scope that out. At Tia's I can always get a table and a very good meal.

not great
Its a good place to get some drinks on the water, but its full of young college kids normally. The food is subpar, and the prices are high. I do think its a fun spot, but I would never "dine" there by any means. Especially when you are steps away from the north end.
