I've been grieving for you since the fire you need to re-open I can't stress this enough!!!!!! Totally awsome food and nice neighborhood atmosphere no batty grouchy tourists. Miss you more than you could ever know!!!!! please re-open

Loved that place!
So sad to read about the devistating fire that took the entire Peterborough Street block and especially sad that Thorntons is no longer there. Back in the day that was the place for BCNers to hang and Marty and Bud were great hosts.

Sad!
The fire that recently started atThornton's and also destroyed a half dozen nearby restaurants was a tragedy. Thornton's was a great casual restaurant that will be missed.

What a breakfast
I frequently go to thornton's on the weekends. their breakfasts are wonderful. check out the belguim waffle. WOW! With fresh strawberriies and whipped cream.

"The Max" of the Colleges of the Fenway
My friends and I have frequented Thorntons since our freshman year. This place is great for the location, price, and atmosphere. If you are looking for nice dinner with the family your at the wrong place. If you are out with some college buddies, looking for a decent place to get drinks, and burgers then you have found your graceland. Thorntons is to Emmanuel College as "The Max" is to Bayside High (saved by the bell) if you dont know what im talking about you are either too old or too young!
