Tasty but crowded
It gets busy early on the weekends and you can't make reservations, but the food is pretty darn good. Beware: they change their menu frequently. Definitely recommend it.

Nice place, so so food, long wait
A few of us came down to celebrate a friend's birthday in a casual, fun atmosphere and to get some good food for a fair price. We didn't try the wine or any alcoholic beverages, but it looked like they had a fair wine/beer [select]ion. The wait was extremely long, WAY longer than it was worth. People that arrived after us were still waiting after we were done with our food. They sat us down at the table with another couple, we didn't care, but it looked as if they were having a romantic dinner - I don't know how romantic it was once we got there! The place has a great atmosphere and a neat decor. My friend really enjoyed his sirloin burger. I had a nibble of the Kobe Beef meatloaf - it was ok. I wasn't blown out of my seat. Meat loaf doesn't seem like the kind of thing to use Kobe beef for- it's overpowered by the spices etc. My overall takeaway for the evening? VERY SALTY. I wasn't crazy about the way the vegetables were prepared. My stuffed quail was all right, but the last few bites just tasted.... salty. No distinction in flavor between the stuffing and the meat. The parsnips and the carrots... once again.. salty. This would have done better with some wilted greens or potatoes.... but I guess they would've just been salty!! The waiter/manager was very friendly, hardworking, but we waited SO LONG to get seated and SO LONG for our food that at the end, the quality (average to good) and the atmosphere just doesn't outweigh the time you are STARVING for!! Maybe I'll go back... for a VERY EARLY dinner, hopefully that'll make for a shorter wait.

Best Lamb in Boston
The Lamb Lollipops on this menu could be the best they have ever done.

A great date experience
The calamari was excellent, it was stuffed with andouille sausage and had a delicious sauce. The fish cakes were the best I've ever had. The swordfish was excellent. My date had the pork tenderloin which was cooked to perfection.
