A TRUE neighborhood bar yet hospitable
This place is right out of a sitcom. The regulars grew up in The Neighborhood. They are very tight but also very hospitable to those of us that didn't grow up in the North End. Leave your Politically Correctness at the door because the staff & the patrons tell it like it is. The food is very good for such a small kitchen. Very simple menu but the highest quality. If you're hungry you must have the sausage or, a close 2nd choice, the steak tips. The drinks are STIFF. You will never see a light pour in this place. What's better is that the drinks cost at least 33% less than any other place in the area. By far the best bang for the buck. The bartenders are awesome. If you're in the North End & feel like having a relaxing drink, you have to stop into the Corner Cafe. You won't be disappointed.

$4 Mojitos!
This place is great. Always has a good crowd of regulars. Staff is friendly and drinks are strong and cheap. You can't find $4 Mojitos anywhere else in the city! Also, free pasta Tuesday nights.

Best Neighborhood Bar in the North End
The Corner Cafe is the most refreshing & non-pretentious food and drink establishment in the North End. What a break from everywhere else in the neighborhood. The drinks are inexpensive, the bartenders are friendly and fun. Thank god I finally found this place.
