If you take out, this place is great!
while the service is terrible (we have completely given up eating in and only take out) the food is quite good and affordable.

Perfect cure for a hangover
The Brighton Cafe is a really great value - the food is consistently good, and certain items are really great (like the huge turkey club with fries that are always fresh tasting, or the huge milkshakes). The portions are huge, and its really low-key, just what you might need on a weekend morning when you're feeling a little hung-over. The service is usually pretty slow, but they don't mess up the orders, and its dirt cheap. You can spend about $4-7 and get some of everything: pancakes, french toast, eggs, homefries, toast, coffee, and meat with one of their breakfast combos. yum.
