Texas boy says, "It is what it is."
Being from Texas, and being a Bar-B-Q-er myself, I thought the food was below par for southern Q but for being a New England restaurant, it is not half bad. If you go into it with that in mind, you might find yourself enjoying it. The brisket hints at an authentic taste, although the meat was really fatty. They could probably get away with that here, but never in Texas.

I love this place.
The food is great! The service was prompt and helpful. The only problem is the noise level. Way to loud. But we got takeout and enjoyed the wonderful food at home. The mack and cheese is fantastic!

Wonderful Look, Subpar Food
This place is clean and looks great on the inside. The waitresses are friendly, though are not savvy about meats (white vs. dark, etc). I have visited the place twice; the first time I promised I would never return, the second time reminded me why. The potato salad has nearly whole potatoes and is not like the traditional dish of the south. The beans leave a lot to be desired, and the macaroni and cheesedoesnt taste homemade. As a southerner, I know what real barbecue is supposed to be like; and this dissapointed me.
