Snappy Sushi

While the food was good and the service was excellent, the atmosphere was much less impressive. Only seating about 15 people with the majority of those seats facing the wall, it felt more like a fast food joint than a restaurant. Then again, if you like your service snappy, then that's what you'll get! My meal was brought out less than five minutes after I ordered it. The prices are very reasonable as well as I got two well-portioned rolls and a cup of tea for about 16 bucks. Not bad in my book, just not the place for a fine-dining experience. If you're looking for good sushi on the go, this is the perfect place to go.

The brown rice they use is sooo amazingly good that I always order an extra bowl of rice when I go in. The salad dressing is delicious and makes me want to eat salad even though I normally hate salad! If you try anything here, eat the Tuna Gone Wild Roll and you will drool every time you think of it. Shrimp tempura roll is awesome as well.

This place is real cheap for sushi and esp. since it's located on newberry street. I am from houston and I always make a stop here when I come into town :)

Good value, great sushi, go early at lunch..nice to get take out and eat in the public garden.

Good sushi for the price. good place for a quick bite to eat. may have to wait a bit on busy nights, but turnover is fairly quick.
