Great People, Decent Food
This is a great little placed to stop in for a beer and good barbecue. The staff and owners are very friendly and good company if you grab a seat at the bar. The barbecue with its choice of great sauces is very good. The sides are lacking in flavor: the corn tasted bland and one would suspect it was frozen, the corn bread was not dry and lacking the moist, sweet quality of authentic corn bread. Other sides like collards and baked beans just need a little Southern touch to be good. All in all it is a good meal and a nice, quiet homey experience. I DO recommend it!
