disappointed
I went to the restaurant with 4 friends. When we asked about the rice we were told it had spices and some black rice. We got plain white rice (not even salted) The salmon was supposed to be served with an orange compote and what was served was a slice of orange. One diner ordered the chicken and was told they were in the process of updating the menu and the chicken was no longer available. The drink of the day was a hot cider drink and we were told it would take a half hour to prepare. It was plain to all of us that they were not ready to serve dinner when we arrived.

One more chance to redeem yourself
My first visit to Scholar's was a dissapointment. I had the proscuitto wrapped haddock sandwich, but the foccacia was too much bread for the dry fish, which was lost in a leathery piece of proscuitto. I did like the potato frites though and our server was pleasant. Their menu choices seem interesting, but the food was very uninteresting. I'll give them one more chance to redeem themselves.
