Maybe it's just because I showed up at 12am
The sushi here was not the best quality. Then again, it was 12am and I went because all other sushi joints in Boston are closed. The atmosphere is awesome (they were bumping house music all night) and the service was quick and friendly. Maybe try eating here during normal dinner hours to see if the sushi gets any better. If you're looking to hang out, grab a drink, and eat some marginal at best sushi late, then this is a sweet spot.

Awesome Sushi
While visiting from NYC I was looking for a great sushi place and found one here. Samurai is very clean, staff is polite, food is great. Try the fried gyoza they're amazing.

Good quality, well-priced
I've been to Samurai about 5 times in the last six months. The quality is consistently great, the specials often inventive, and the value is good. The atmosphere isn't flashy but it's comfortable and low-key. Service is reliable if not especially polished.
