Gone Downhill Since Fred Ciampa Passed Away
My family was a die-hard fan of Same Old Place pizza for many years. Since Fred Ciampa passed away, the place has really changed, and not in a good way. Seems they've had a change in staff and the new people just can't make a good pie. It's really about proportions of crust, sauce and cheese. Now I find that the crust is often too thick or the pizza is overloaded with too much cheese. If one of the old-timers is throwing pies, the pizza can still be excellent. But now I won't order a pie (or a slice) unless I can see who is making it.

Best Pizza in Town
Been going here for at least 20 years. Best pizza in town! Same old staff, same old pizza, Same Old Place!

Going down hill
I have been having breakfast at the Same Old Place for over 25 years. They have decided to open at 10 am instead of 7 am. This is shutting out the morning people who love to have breakfast there. I am VERY disappointed in their decision. The Same Old Place is not the Same old Place since Fred Ciampa died last year. I have also heard the lunch and dinner foods have changed, also and not for the better. It is still the best place to have breakfast and I hope the powers that be will reconsider their hours for breakfast. They are losing customers.

So Sad
What happened to this place.Its gone totally down hill in the past few months..The food has change along with the atmosphere.. So sad..I used to eat there daily.

Mediocre and over priced pizza
We just had delivered a small green pepper and onion pizza that came to $18. It's a really mediocre pizza, probably not worth more than $12. Blech. We can do way better at other local pizza places.

Best Breakfasts
I have been eating at Same Old Place for 36 years. My favorite time of the day is breakfast but I do have lunch and dinner there occasionally. Love the food and the people who work there. Prices are reasonable,too. Great way to start the day.

Uggh
I ordered a sausage pizza and they put breakfast sausage on it. The taste of sage does not go well on a pizza. I don't know if it was a mistake or if that is what they normally put on a sausage pie but it was gross.
