try to visit anytime in Boston. Service is always fantastic and the owners are very attentive. We always find the food fresh and amazingly prepared. Never disappointed. Can't wait to go back!!!

My sister and her family stop there every time they come to Boston. I have gone with them sometimes. Every time we have been there it has been great. The menu offers salad, soup, seafood, meat, plenty of appetizers, and their own specials. You get a good sized portion. You will really love this restaurant! It is quant with a real Italian atmosphere.

Having not been in the North End in a number of years, I was looking forward to a very good meal. I was disappointed on many levels. I had family in from CT who wanted to eat in the North End for good Italian food. They were here for the Head of the Charles--their daughter was rowing. I made a reservation for 8:15pm on Saturday night and we didn't get seated until 9pm. (The woman seating people said, "it's Saturday night", like that was a reason. The appetizers came soon, but the garlic bread was not a big portion and we had to ask for water and bread and butter several times. The entrees came at 10pm--very late! Everyone was tired, and my nephew fell asleep at the table and never ate his meal! I had to leave the group to catch the last commuter rail from So. Station and they ended up having to wait even longer because there was somehting wrong with the credit card machine. When asked if they couldn't do something because of the fiasco, they were offered more wine; something which was not acceptable at the end of a long evening (and day). I had the veal with proscuitto and cheese and the veal was tough. The girls had lasagna which was dry. I would not recommend this restaurant, and would not go back.

In over two years of carefully recommending guests to some of the best restaurants in Boston I have confidently suggested Ricardo's Ristorante because of the consistency of product, great service, fine wine selection and attention to detail both Richard the father and Richard the son demand of themselves.1,000 guests have spoken with passion when I have asked for their opinions back at the hotel. My favorite dish is the Risotto alla Ricardo with Chicken.
