Great service, excellent food and never what you expect, beautiful space. Even the home made rolls before dinner are amazing. Check it out.

Gilson brings a new spin to comfort food--those flavors from childhood--boiled dinner veggies, pickled fruit, slow roasted meats, etc are brought to life with a careful balance of flavors, using fresh, seasonal products. I highly recommend the free range chicken--it is to die for! Buzzing with energy, the restaurant's decor also brings a new twist to the throwback of yesteryear, including an awesome stove from the 1920's at the hostess station! A bit loud (inevitable when an establishment is always full!), it is sometimes difficult to carry a conversation, but more importantly, you do not feel rushed while there. A good selection of locally brewed ales and carefully assembled wine list. A sampling of yesteryear's puritan & co. (the restaurant's namesake) cake at the close of the meal is a nice touch! Love this place!

Nothing that bad, but nothing that good either. Cold food that should have been hot(& vice versa). Pricey for what you get& very loud also
