I don't know why the ratings stop at 5!
This is by far the best North end experience we have ever had. Even before you are seated, there is a bowl of olives in warm olive oil and wonderful chewy rolls. It only get better from there. It doesn't matter what you order, it is all good. Don't miss the calamari and caesar salad. If you can get in, do it.

A "little" different North End experience
This very small intimate restaurant seats few; maybe 9 tables total. So quiet and very intimate, and unlike the hub-bub in many of the other North End eateries. So needless to say a reservation or calling in advance of your arriving is critical. Chicken Carbonara is terrific. The green olive risotto served along side the veal dish is one of the best I've ever had.
