All I ever buy is the nachos, or sometimes just beans and chips, but they have a fabulous, fresh-made salsa bar and I really lay it on. I tip about $0.75 above 17%, to try to pull my own weight, which isn't that much over as I think of it, and I've never received a complaint. I also bus myself. Hey, come for the salsas, find something to put them on and make up your own mind.

This is the best place that my wife and I have found in Cambridge. We came from Los Angeles and this is the closest that any Mexican food has come to the true authentico. They have a very inviting menu and the specials are great. If you are in the mood for more than a skinny burrito at the other cheap eats places, try this out. You won't be sorry.

1982.....at 2006 Prices. I've eaten at the place about 3 times, mainly because there aren't many other Mexican places in Central Square, and on rare moments one is nostalgic for student like places. The food is nothing special, but it isn't, strictly speaking, that bad. However, when you factor in the price of the food, the bad meter starts to move up a bit. The kitchen has a bass- ackwards take a number, take a seat routine that is annoying, and the counter help has that in-prison look that makes one a little uncomfortable. The Poster board with the notices is fun, like the old days in Central Square. Unfortunately the place is gloppy (sticky tables and chairs) decorated in ala screaming ugly colors. If meals on the menu were two dollars less, and they had some fun people working there, this place would be a scream.
