    Yummy Brunch!

I read the reviews and it seemed like everyone reccommended this place as a must try and authentic. I am from out of town so I def want to eat at the good places wherever I visit. My bf and I came here for brunch and it was great! I got the crispy poached egg with bacon & frisee salad. The sauce was amazing and the dish was SO tasty. The only bad thing was they over-cooked my poached egg b/c the yolk was not runny @ all (it was more soft-boiled). My bf really loved his scrambled eggs with herbs. He's never had eggs like that and they cooked it very tasty and brought it out so fast, the plate was still burning! Out waiter was subpar...sometimes he would come by and sometimes we couldn't find him. Overall, the food is wonderful and makes up for the ok service. I would DEF come back for dinner and reccommend this place to people! O and the decor is cute...it just sucks to try to find parking in this neighborhood.

Local Says: You should eat here!

I have to agree that the service at Petite Robert can be bad at times, however, more times than not the service is great. It just helps if you are a bit assertive. I am a regular there and I can tell you honestly, that yes the service may falter from time to time, but I have never, not once, had anything other than an absolutley delicious meal. I am a huge fan of French cuisine and I have taken serveral friends there for both dinner and brunch and we always have a great time. Highly reccomended. P.S. Their wine list and cocktails are fantastic, especially the Sophies Best.

Fabulous Food, Less than stellar waitstaff

I love the food here but the service leaves something to be desired. Not only are the servers snide but the manager (possibly owner?) is barreling around the tiny place barking at servers and in general, being unprofessional. If service isn't at the top of your list I recommend this place. I must admit, I still go there even though I am frustrated with the servers every time I leave.

    Subpar Service

We went for brunch, and half an hour after sitting we had still not even ordered. i had one glass of water and was not offered another drink of any kind the whole brunch. Two separate tables next us left after a half hour in which thay had not even seen their waiter. The dainty brunch items were at best, OK. We will never go back.
