My Favorite Place in the World
Peace O' Pie is the thing I miss the most since moving out of Brighton. Fortunately, I make a point of going back 3-4 times a month. I can't help it--this place means so much to me. Not only is it pretty much the only place to get decent vegan junk food in Boston, but it is a vegan-owned and operated business that thrives in a city not really known for its vegan options. Moreover, their unending creativity in inventing new sandwich and slice specials every day/week never ceases to amaze me. Even if these things aren't important to you though, the food here should be enough to convince you to go. I personally recommend the cheesy breadsticks, though the tofu bites are also very special (I always do them buffalo with garlic aioli dipping sauce). For something really delicious and unusual, try the Habba Habanero sandwich. One more thing--these guys make some of the best tofu scramble I've ever tried, anywhere. You can always find some variation of it during their brunch (11am-3pm on the first Sunday of every month), which is not to be missed.

Delish!
The food is fantastic (although a little pricey, $20 for cheesy bread and small pizza, so Share with friends!). Cheesy bread is so tasty, especially with the sauce on the side. I ordered the hawaiian with jalepenos. Cheesy and very tasty, but I wouldn't order it with the "ham" next time... Just wasn't for me. Had a bite of a friends veggie "sausage", soo tasty!! Can't wait to go again!!
