A Dining Gem
I've dined here for years and have never had a disappointing dining experience. What's not to love about this place? Great food, nice hospitality and a very decent wine list. It's a great little venue with a comforting atmosphere. You feel at home here. Whenever my wife and I dine here I insist that we order different apps and meals so that I can taste as many items as possible. That approach works even better when bringing friends along. The quality and value can't be beat. Their veal dishes are especially noteworthy. I know it's not pc to some but they are all delicious and beautifully prepared. Panza is truely one of the city's dining gems.

Great little place!
Don't overlook this little gem! Great food, comfortable atmosphere and exceptional service. On a very busy Sunday evening of Memorial Day weekend, we waited approx. 5 minutes to be seated - had the prime table at the open front window - if you like that - which we do. Waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and we were not rushed at all - extremely relaxing and enjoyable experience. Most of the classic italian dishes you would expect and a few great specials. Four in our party - started with calimari; entrees were chicken saltimboca seafood risotto, veal parm and chicken parm. We all tasted all the dishes - and it was unanimous - great food, service and atmosphere. We weren't disappointed they didn't serve coffee & dessert as we like to walk around & stop at Mike's, and the waiter also recommended Cafe Vittorio which we like. Overall a great experience.

Great little place
We had mussels & red sauce (fantastic !!), Penne with chicken & broccoli, and Seafood Risotto (Best I ever tasted !!) Great place, reasonable price and excellent service. No dessert or coffee, but several doors from Mike's Pastry shop which is in a class by it's self !!

A really nice find in the North End!
I live on Hanover Street, so I've tried quite a few of the restaurants in the area. I have to say this one was a really nice surprise! It was a busy Sunday night, but my friend and I were able to get a table right away at Panza. The tables are pretty tight, so it might be tough to come here with a lot of people. The bread was really good (with olive oil dipping sauce) and the butternut squash tortellini was amazing!! The tortellini are huge - like dumplings! The portion was enough for lunch the next day as well. My friend had a special which included some excellent ravioli. The price was right too - under $40 total for 2 of us including 2 glasses of wine. They don't serve dessert or coffee... which is kind of strange... although there's a ton of places in the area for that, it's a bit odd they don't have anything to offer. Other than that, this was a great choice. I also spied a take-out menu as well which is rare for the area!

Good Food, Excellent Value
This was a very good meal for very reasonable prices, with entrees generally in the $14-$16 range. Service was prompt and professional and the food really quite good.
