We felt the place was very over rated comparing our meal to the reviews we had read. My veal dish was bland as was my wife's broccoli ziti dish (she said my dish at home was very much better). A bottle of Chianti that costs me $8 at my local package store was $32. The cost of the meal was simply not worth it. The antipasto was iceberg lettuce, some good cheese, so so salami and a few other items. Boring and no imagination.

We try to get into Boston about once a week and we used to try a different restaurant each week, until we tried Pagliuca's. From the atmosphere to the food & wine and attentiveness of the wait staff, they are the best by far!

My wife and I ate here after a friend told us about it, loved it. Went back with our daughter and loved it even more. This place has great food, the wait staff was off the charts both times. We will go there every time we come back up from florida.

Pagliuca's is a favorite among northenders and tourist alike. I have eaten here since I was a kid ( I'm 38) food is always off the charts service is not the capital grill but honestly who cares. The host is a flamboyant loud funny personality who should legit have his own sitcom unfortunately he's not there all the time because if you are brave enough to engage in a conversation with him you won't be disappointed it makes the wait that much more fun.. This is a must try location in a sea of restaurants... The waitresses are lifers who are from the neighborhood and are great ladies to be around... See you there.

We have been to alot of geat place to eat in the North End but none of them as good as this one all around. We have been all over the US and have eaten in many great places. This one is one of the best places by far! Not only is the food great the value is great as well. With that said, the one thing that brings us back time and time again, are the people who work at this place. There is no doubt that this is what makes this place stand out. Do yourself a favor, judge it for yourself! Enjoy! You won't be disappointed.

On a recent trip to Boston, (and I graded service on a curve, as there were 2 very big events taking place in town this weekend) I was largely dissatisfied with some aspects of our meal. First, after seeing a plate of pasta with 2 large meatballs at another table, my companion and I asked if we could just get the meatballs without pasta to share as an appetizer. Our server brought us the pasta and meatball dish separated into 2 portions. I ordered the lobster fra diavola, which, in my experience elsewhere, has not been served shell- on. I had to ask for the proper implements for removing the shell, AND had the red sauce running down my wrists while removing the shell, as it was fully covered with the sauce.
