Go there "just" for the prune-stuffed gnocchi with seared fois gras in a vin santo glaze. Or go simply because it's the best restaurant in Boston. Chef Barbara Lynch, a James Beard Foundation award winner and one of Food and Wine Magazine's ten-best chefs, prepares food that is incredibly sophisticated -- and yet you always feel as if you're dining at a friend's home.

Superb food, wonderful service, lovely location. Pricey but well worth the splurge for special occasion, business luncheon, etc.
