Checked this place out on Valentine's night. Pretty good. They had a price fix menu for the night and the regular menu to choose from. All in the price for two of us was $110 with drinks and was impressed with what was delivered. We ate at a table and then had drinks in the bar area. People were nice and met another couple from the neighborhood.

Nebo is just fantastic! The food is always delicious, especially the pizzas. I have tried many of them and have never been disappointed. The steak tip with capers salad is another one of my favorites! They have one of the worlds best bartenders too, and my girlfriend says they have the best lemon drop martini.

I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but the sour taste is still in my stomach- I just have to share. First of all, I am greeted at the door by a raunchy "hostess" who immediately announces we need to get out of there by a specific time because it was going to get filled up. To make matters worst, throughout dinner I couldn't help but to feel like every waiter/waitress was WAITING on us...before we could drop our utensils, the plates were swifted off of our tables. I felt like saying "okay, I get the point...we need to leave soon!" Not to mention, we are inconveniently interrupted and asked to give up the spare chair at our table, remove the coats and purses, because they need it- while about half of the restaurant has empty chairs. To further bring home their message, when we request the dessert menu we are told it is unavailable when there is an event at the Garden nearby because the kitchen gets backed up. I won't press the matter of them wrongfully accusing (embarrassing) us by saying that our gift card had insufficiant funds on it- turns out they "swiped the wrong card by accident"...but the service was extremely distasteful- and so was the food, for that matter. We spent over one hundred dollars in that place and were treated as less-than's. I felt like their attitudes towards us was less than respectful. If the dinner was not a gift, I would have surely had more to say to the managers...I felt very offended.

I went to nebo Sat. night and loved it. Cool room, great food and friendly staff. During the Celtics season I went there before a game and the place was packed. This time the room seemed filled with more rhborhood feel. The staff seemed to know everyone that came in but still took the time to come and talk with us. Love the food and the wine list is amazing. This is going to be my new hangout.

I just came back from Nebo's. I've eaten there before but was shocked when I was charged $1.95 to substitute parmigiano cheese for mozzarella cheese. The owner took my order and when I questioned it, she said "that's just how the system puts it in." When you're already paying $8.25 for a sandwich at lunch time, charging someone almost $2 to substitute cheese seems exuberant. A while back, my friend was charged money when he asked for some bread to go with his salad. The food is good but the customer service is lacking. I will not go back to this restaurant.

I lived in manhattan for 12 yrs and recently moved back to Boston. The one thing I knew I would miss for sure were the restaurants, til I found Nebo. Located in the NorthEnd, I was totally shocked by the sleek and sexy decor. We started our meal with an antipasti of proscuitto, capicola and other Italian meats served on a wooden board then had Polenta scampi, a cheesy layered eggplant and the homemade gnocchi with sausage and broccoli rabe. Every part of our dinner was perfect. pizza looked so delicious that I had to go by the next day to try one. Just like New York style pizza ! Best in Boston. Maybe not as many restaurants to choose from in Boston but Nebo took some pain away.
