    Great burgers

The ever-present line out front tells you all you need to know about how yummy the burgers are. I think the divey 80s dorm room decor is charming and part of the appeal. Bathrooms would be nice, as would a beer license, but what this place does it does very well.

The "Cheers" of the burger joints.

Definitely an experience worth waiting in line for. I even did the tourist thing and bought one of their t-shirts after finishing the Bush burger. Supposedly their pickles/relish were the best but I think Tony Paco's has them beat. Burger was good a bit on the greasy side but that's part of the experience. Overall I enjoy my dining experience and would come back and maybe try eating a bigger burger.

    Yummy Beef

This place has the best burgers around. Yeah the docor is lacking but its a classic place. I love the burger names. which change as often as the political scene does.

    Best Burgers (and frappes)

The burgers are amazing. The frappes are amazing. Great fries (regular and sweet potato). I personally love the atmosphere (sort of divey). Worth the lines, lack of bathrooms (literally no bathrooms), and cash only policy.

    Why the hype?

Some people love their burgers, but I ordered mine med-well and had to send it back b/c it was too rare. My fries were ok, and the non-burger dish I tried was not bad. The prices are high- the lawn chairs and 1980s dormroom decor makes you think it would cost less. Also, there is no restroom.
