I recently had eclairs from Mikes, as well as cannoli's -- never, never again. Also Maria's on Cross Street fills all pastries to order. I've lived here all my life and don't see the attraction to Mikes -- just a tourist trap.

This is not a little romantic cofee shop. But its an experince, huge glass cases filled with any type of sweet your heart desires, and everything is amply priced and excellent. A complete must if you are eating in the north end.
