Great food, mediocre atmosphere
I went to this resturant on a weekday, far past what would normally be considered "dinner time." There was amazing food and great service, but the poor acoustics made the dining experience less than incredible. I understand that the buildings are old in the North End and that the resturant itself was small, but I did not enjoy having to yell over the noise just to hear the friends I was with. It was an extremely pleasurable experience once the majority of the other customers left, but a restaurant shouldn't have to be completely empty for a person to take satisfaction in the meal. All in all, it was great, but they should really do something about the atmosphere.
