    Great start to holiday

My family and I dined here at the start of our holiday in Boston and really enjoyed the evening. The food was great but best of all was the attention from all of the staff. I am involved in customer service and recognise excellence when I see it.

Horrible Service and Cold Family Style Food

We dined Saturday evening 10/13/12. The service was disgraceful, unfriendly, taking people's plates before they were finished, not asking if people would like a drink. The food was served family style and the pasta was served cold. The chicken was overcooked and the price was out of sight. Beware, just because they are located in Boston and the meal is expensive, this place is not high end. You would get a better meal in the frozen aisle of your local grocery store and wouldn't have to deal with a disappointing dining experience.

Great food and fun place to eat

A great place to eat! We went here with a large group the night before the Boston marathon and had a wonderful meal. The family style menu can't be beat (tons of food for $26!). The atmosphere was fun and the restaurant is a bit loud, but expected. They capably handled the request of one of our party for gluten free, overall a great experience.

    Best value in the area

Maggianos is number one for overall value . I have been there with my office staff for a larger party and with my daughters for a more intimate dinner. Food is great-Im not sure how they do such good food in such large quantities. Service efficient and cordial. Prices very reasonable. The maitre d was very nice . Need to call to guage when to come in as there may be a waiting line to get in. Also ask for a quiet spot.

My wife made reservations here, and the food was great! They gave us nice seating, the service was also good. We ordered the mushroom and cheese ravioli dishes - the ravioli dishes are large enough for 1 person, but they also have the 1/2 order option if you aren't a big eater. Anyhow the alfredo sauce was very heavy and creamy. The 4 cheese ravioli's pesto sauce was just right. We enjoyed our meal here!
