    The best of the best

This is a place for food lovers--not nouveau foodies--though I'm sure they are welcome here as well. I'm sure they are as this is a very inviting and inclusive (not exclusive) restaurant and a most comfortable place. The food preparations are classically inspired and always impeccably executed and beautifully presented. The menu varies seasonally and they have an outstanding and fairly-priced wine list. L'Espalier is still Boston's finest and most exciting dining experience. Quite frankly, it's a reason to come to Boston. I do miss the warmth of their former townhouse setting but as life changes, so must we all. This is a great restaurant. It's nice to see that MccLelland and crew are still at the top of their game.

Savor every bite. Terrific and knowledgeable staff, unbelievable and creative food, beautiful presentation and an extensive wine list. Perfect for special occasions and a memorable night.

An experience you won't soon forget!

Although expensive, the food is impeccable. The knowledge and attentiveness of the waitstaff is by far the best I've ever had. I only wish I had the money to eat there every night. They do have a goup seating "Wine Mondays", which pairs wine with tastings from the chef, and requires reservations. This is one option for those on a budget to experience one of the best in Boston, it's $55.
