Safe when you need the best
Legal has been around for a long time. They're a big, family-owned regional operation and fanatical about quality. This is an excellent restaurant, and you're not going to pay sub-shop prices, but if that's not what you need it's a sure win. (Look at the menu already.) They have a service where they send food parcel express, and have some famous customers. And they have an in-house microbiology lab for inspecting shellfish. As I said, they're fanatical about quality. And yes, they cook well. I go to the Kendall Square branch, and the decor is rich and quiet with emphasis on dark, polished wood. Definitely make this your next fling.
