    Unique

I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened a dozen years ago and continue to be astonished by the quality of the food. It's the only restaurant to offer the entire range of Persian cuisine (other Iranian restaurants, particularly in California, just as in Iran, only serve kebabs with one or two additional dishes). No better place than this to experience authentic home-cooking of one of the oldest cuisines in the world, surrounded by an incredible collection of original, museum-quality Persian art. Amazing!

I could eat there every day!

We've eaten here a couple times since we moved to the area and have never been disappointed--as soon as you enter, you are treated well and the food and wine are wonderful. Having come from living in NYC, I don't find the prices that high and the food justifies the price in my opinion! I highly recommend it!

    Fantastic

My favorite restaurant in Boston. The food is delicious and different, the staff friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect.

    Exquisite

Lala Rokh offers great food, great service and great décor. This is not a budget restaurant. It is a small world-class eatery located on Beacon Hill and recognized as such by those who know fine food. If you are one who doesn’t yet know fine food, the staff will gladly assist you by describing each and every menu item. You won’t have much difficulty because everything they serve falls in the range of excellent to exquisite. You get what you pay for and this one is worth every penny.

Good, but not worth the price

This is great food, but definitely over-priced. We went with a group and the small-area was a bit hard to navigate. The staff went out of their way to be accomodating, though.

Good food, overpriced for the cuisine

I went on a Friday night and it was crowded but not overly so. The food was definately good, the atmosphere was warm. I'm not sure I'd go back though. Hard to justify $100 (w/wine) on food that could go for half the price. I think its worth a try though.
