    Best Seabass I ever had

We had a wonderful meal, everything was like it should be. The only thing we would prefer is that the tables were not so close together. There is no private conversation possible, its almost elbow to elbow sitting.

    Perfect Date Night

You must try this! Granted, it's going to cost a little bit but the service, atmosphere & food was wonderful! They really want to please their guests & everything was delicious. I had the sole which was deboned at my table mouthwatering!!

    oui oui!

Simple, tasteful decor. Wonderful food i had the roasted salmon with leeks "Prix fixe" which came with a tasty and beautifully presented endive salad. Only one slight "complaint" i had to ask for bread plate for my roll (the bread was really good though). I'd definitely go again.

    My Favorite

I actually had the exact opposite experience. I ordered the dandelion samon and found it to be the BEST salmon I have ever had in my life, including my mom's. Absolute attention to detail. Friendly and courteous staff. Charming ambiance. Their chocolate tort was to die for....fantastic dinner really. I have been to Cannes and they stay true to the idea of Mediterranean cuisine at La Voile. Yes, the dishes are pricey, but its NEWBURY STREET! Believe me, after numerous bad experiences on Newbury Street, it is good to finally get what you pay for!

Overpriced, Overcooked Food - Skip it

Way overpriced food and drinks. Nice waiter simply gave attention to my wife and could care less what I wanted. The steak was overcooked and tough, the apps were weak and tasteless. Very disappointing given the hype of the place. For a mediocre dinner for two - I didn't even get an alcoholic drink, the bill was over $150. Clearly a rip off. You don't always get what you pay for. This place should be taken off Newbury. I have had much better dinners for much less. And PS, they don't have a full bar - the guy explained how expensive the liquor license is. Shocking given their prices.
