Amazing Chilean sandwiches!
Great place to get Chilean food. I always get a churrasco and a couple empanadas. Amazing. They also have an insanely wide variety of foods. The pizza is great here and so is the pasta. The owner is really nice and the deliver is free. My favorite place for food in Allston by far!

Mom and Pop place
La Mama's has been consistently great for the past 6 years I have been living here. Always fresh food, and quick service (including delivery). The best is the chicken milanese, and the chacarero sandwiches are tasty too! Also the closest thing to NY pizza I have found in the Allston Brighton area. It's a go-to place!

A pleasant surprise
As Allston/Brighton pizza joints go, LaMamma is great. I was so surprised by the quality- usually a large menu such as this does not bode well, but in this case everything was better than expected - especially at 12:00am in college student land. Our favorites are the empanadas - clearly homemade and very tasty. Pasta selections are decent and pizza and calzones are consistently good, not the gooey mess I have had at similar places. Lots of choices to suit many cravings. Overall a good late night option.

Better for takeout or delivery
Surprisingly diverse and quality food from what looks and initially seems like another pizza joint in Allston. The ambiance is nothing to write home about so I recommend getting it to go or delivered. The pesto tortellini is my personal favorite and my roommate has been thrilled with the chili dogs.
