Best mideast food
We ate and ate. Everything wa so good and authentic. The owner is from the Middle East and know what he is doing. Every grain of rice is perfect. The bread is made in a special oven, not pita bread. Great place at resonable price.

I was doubtful at first but the food is amazing.
My grandmother makes the whole family Persian food every night, but I would actually prefer to pay for it here because the quality is just that much better; It literally melts in your mouth. I was a disbeliever at first, but when I walked in the door I was greeted immediately and I was served quickly. The waitress and he owner were very polite, and my food arrived fast and it was fresh. You need to try it yourself to understand.

Very Good
Being a pesian, I want to let everyone know that the food here is good- like all places, they have bad days, but over our last 4 visits, the food has only gotten better- was dissappointed the first time with the ice cream as well as the meat, but over the past 2 months, much improved- they are dedicated to improving based on feedback. Would recommend, good location with very good food

Excellent Iranian food!
My Fiance and I love Kolbeh. The food is extremely delicious and we go quite often. He is also Iranian and says that they have great quality traditional persian dishes. We cook persian food at home but is nice to have a restaurant local. We love the kubideh kabbob and also enjoy yogurt/mint dip. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful.

Too expensive
I just think you pay way too much for what you get. For families I don't recommend it.

A second look leaves me disappointed
So after being so thrilled with my first meal at Kolbeh of Kabob, I decided to go for lunch (instead of dinner this time). The disappointing part of the meal was the koobideh. Unlike my last review in which I was impressed with the meat quality, these skewers were not good. The meat tasted not great in quality and was greasy. Also, the lunchtime service is non-existent. I'm not sure what to make of my two contrasting visits.

Very solid kabob house
I've eaten Persian cuisine my entire life, and I was surpised by how great the koobideh and joojeh kabobs were. Furthermore, the basmati rice is well-cooked. Overall, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is fairly small and reminiscent of a cozy 1950s diner. If you live in Cambridge and like Persian food, definitely check this one out.
