huge disappointment
Before I say anything I'm Korean who grew up eating Korean food for most of my life. I do NOT recommend this place. Food portions are ridicuously tiny and much is lacking in the side dishes. If you want more authetic Korean food that will actually fill you up, it might be better to go to Hmart and buy prepackaged goods, such as soondae... more bang for your buck. In all honesty, all the Korean restaurants in MA fail miserably and will taste just MSG-laden crap.

Poor cuisine
A friend and I had a late lunch at Kaya yesterday. starter of prawn dumplings and edamame beans was lovely. a complimentary set of little tasters was delicious too. but stir fried squid was tasteless, too spicy, did not look like a stir fry at all and did not taste like one either. our other meal were noodles, also tasteless, in a plain broth with some deformed egg in it. we did not finish either of the main dishes. we did pay $45 for it - an excessive charge for a poor cuisine. While the staff was friendly and service pleasant, some better recipes would be an improvement to the rating of this excellently located establishment.

Better than going to Boston
Kaya in Cambridge is a good place to go for both Korean and Japanese food. Plus it's also great that they are open until 2am because if you don't want to drive to Chinatown to deal with the parking and stuff then this is the restaurant to go too.
