disappointing
The food here is really overpriced for what you get. The helpings are large (although there is more sauce than substance) but the quality of the meat is low, as in hard to cut, gristly, and dry rather than tender. Some of the dishes tasted like precooked meat tossed in a sauce that had been simmering for days waiting to be served (and not in a good way). The soup, bread, and dessert were delicious but the substance of the meal was altogether disappointing. The service was friendly and quick (again, making me think this food was in no way freshly prepared). I have had much better Indian food for much less. If I ever go back, which I highly doubt, I'll stick to vegetarian dishes. This place is cutting costs on the meat.

One of my favs
A bit on the pricier side, Kashmir is one of my favorite Boston restaurants. More modernly decorated than other Indian restaurants, it's got a great atmosphere, the staff is super nice, and it has gorgeous Newbury street seating in good weather. Definitely worth a visit! (Take the T - do not drive, as parking is always difficult in this area).

Amazing
Great food, awesome atmosphere, pretty good in terms of price (worth it!). So many great options on the menu. I went with a group of people so we picked a bunch of items and shared them. I would recomend going with a group so you can experience a little of everything from the menu. I would highly recomend this place to anyone!
