Interesting menu & reasonable prices
The Poh Piah appetizer (a steamed wrap stuffed with jicama and mixed vegetables. chili sauce and plum sauce on the top) was the BEST! Crunchy, delicious and filling. The Udon noodles w small shrimp, chicken and sprouts were also delicious! Huge portions. The only disappointment was the red bean and green tea ice cream wrapped in a soft dough. Not very flavorful.

Best noodles in Boston
The noodles here are the best that I have had anywhere. The Udon noodle and Mee Goreng are as good as you will get anywhere.

Great Eatery
Great food and very reasonable prices. The service was far from memorable but the food more than makes up for it.

Crab rangoons
Right on Mass. Ave. at the end of Newbury Street, Island Hopper has it all-- food and service. But, I have to say I'm more fond of their appetizers than their pad thai. Highly recommended are their crab rangoons. The atmosphere is warm and hip and the staff is also very friendly.

Love this place
This place is phenomenal so I'm glad I found it because it's easy to walk by on your way to Newbury street. The first thing I love is that Island Hopper has a lengthy menu with wonderful, detailed descriptions of each dish. All of the dishes I've had here thus far have been nothing short of awesome. I just had my first appetizer this evening and it was great as well (a vegetarian Hot and Sour soup which was the perfect balance of tang and spice.) Go try the Kapitan Chicken or the Lamb dish right under it on the menu-both absolutely fantastic. Every time I go I have to force myself to try something different because I'm so attached to whatever I last had.

Amazing
Island Hopper is one of the best restaurants in Boston. It specializes in Southeast Asian cuisine, and has very original and delicious dishes, both meat and vegetarian/vegan. It is flavorful, not too pricey, and very much worth the visit! Highly recommended.
