my favorite Italian food
My son't fiance and I wanted to eat some good Italian food at the North End. This is the best Italian food I've had in Boston. The atmosphere, the wine........ it was all perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be returning again soon!

very quaint
Been here about 6 times. They have wonderful red sauce. I love it, even more so for lunch. Very cheap lunch prices. Very good dinner as well though. It's a hole in the wall, but its intimate and you don't have to pay for a bunch of overhead and atmosphere. The food is very memorable.

Fantastic
A Must try. When in Boston last month someone told us to try ILVillaggio. Greate Italian wine for about twenty dollar. The Lobster Ravioli is really delicious.

And it was worse than that....
Don't think so . . . if it has any redeeming features, it is reasonably priced and still on Hanover Street. But otherwise it is small, more Mediterranean than Italian, the night I was there they were playing Spanish music. And as hard as it is to believe they had no dessert. I would look elsewhere and take your chances.

The Very Best in Boston
This place had the best Lobster Ravioli I have had in Boston. Their service is fantastic, they make you feel as if you are the only one in there. Their wine prices are amazing, you can have some of the best Italian wines under $20 a bottle. You should get in early in the weekend, because they can be very busy.
