Late night food
I've been to Hi Fi multiple times, for their pizza by the slice - both in sober and drunken states, a salad and pizza. But the topic of this review is the calzone I ordered for take-out at 8 on a Saturday night. It was ready promptly and they had the order right, but overall I wasn't thrilled with my experience. It was more expensive than I had anticipated (a calzone is currently 8.50, and 1.25 per topping). I wouldn't recommend ordering chicken in a calzone or a pizza, as it's tough and rather flavorless (unlike the chicken they use on salads, which are nicely cooked). I think my biggest complain would be with the night workers. It's as though they expect everyone who comes in to be drunk, and while I understand this is mostly justified, I don't appreciate being treated like some inebriated college student even when I'm cordial and sober. Customer service could use some improvement. What they really have going for them is the convenience.
