On a recent weekend, our family of 5 stopped into the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston for dinner after a day of sight seeing. We were told there was about an hour's wait. Not a real big deal if the place was busy with an obvious line for tables. But it wasn't. Most of the tables were empty, and there was no line. When we asked if we could eat in the barroom, we were told we'd have to wait for that too. We found another place close by, no wait, great food, and much better prices.

As fans of this chain we decided to try this location, and have been back 2 other times figuring that everyone has a bad day. The service was awful each time . Our waitress disappeared for half hours at a time, gave us the same kitchen backup story each of the three times we went, food was cold, and each time the silverware and plates were dirty if we were lucky enough to get any for appetizers. The third time we went, no one in our party got what they ordered and we had to wait an additional 45 minutes for what we really ordered. This is the ultimate restaurant horror story. Save yourself the frustration and money, skip this place.

We only waited about 45 minutes for a table, not to bad. Then we waited 2 and a half hours for our food!! We would have walked out but we felt bad stiffing the waitress who kept saying there was a backup in the system. A backup?? When we finally got out food it was cold! Obviously it had been sitting out for a very long time. The food wasn't even good and it was wayy over prices.
