sweet and sour
Grotto is cute and cozy. Tried it during restaurant week 3/11/11. Food was pretty good, good value but lousy, slow service. Took a long time for a waitress, then a long time for drinks(got salads before drinks)had to ask for bread while everyone else was getting theirs, maybe because it was restaurant week? good overall but a bit disappointing service.

Sooo good.
It is a very tiny restaurant but the food was amazing. Sweet potato ravoli, chicken, beef tenderloin and chocolate cake were so delicious. I couldn't move after my meal. Highly recommend.

I would go again
The food is so good. I love to go to Grotts for lunch. The only problem is the service. While the staff is very kind they are not the fastest crew. I once waited 15 minutes for a straw, but the food was very good so it made up for it.

Hidden gem of beacon hill
Great Italian restaurant, good value on lunches, a little pricey for dinner but worth it for a nice dinner. location has real italian feel to it, definitely recommend it!
