Figs

Figs is a great restaurant. It is ideal to go for lunch because it is such a small place with very few tables, there tends to be a big wait around dinner time. I would recommend the calamari pizza or their pasta carbonara. Both of these are fabulous! The service the past few times I have been was poor! Slow with taking orders and grabbing the bill. One time I did receive a used wine glass... This restuarant could be one of the greatest in the area if they hired different waitstaff that cared about the customers and had better customer service skills.

I spent half an hour on hold to place a take out order and they never picked up and the phone line is always busy...Stopped in to order and it took over an hour to get a pizza to go....poor service with good food means its a poor restaurant..Shame on you Todd English

Figs is delicious! Yes it is a bit crowded, but it's cozy and everyone is always very helpful and nice. It's not a pizza place, it shouldn't be a quick bite. It's "fancy" pizza with inventive toppings so it is a bit more expensive, but it's huge and well worth it.

October 9, 2011. Loud music, chattering and clattering, lack of navigatable space, lengthy wait time for seating, fair service and good food but .... We ordered a pizza split into 1/2 of one type and 1/2 of another (suggested by the waitperson), thinking we'd get charged for 1/2 at the costlier pizza's price, and 1/2 at the less expensive pizza's price. Not so ! We were charged full price for the more expensive of the two. Paying for the costlier of the two pizzas if the pizza is split ? ... Why not 1/2 and 1/2 added together? It's never good practice to present a costly surprise to the customer (who has already waited a very long time for service) when presenting the bill. Todd English should come by and rate his place.

We waited 20 minutes after time scheduled to be seated, sat 4 of us at table with bench seat all on one side, no talking could be done, there was another an open table by the front window! Our table was 3 feet from oven area (saw the oil being drizzled on the tops of the pizzas, ugh!) , too dark to see, server's computer next to one chair that we could not use. Very hot with fan on floor blowing warm air on us. Kitchen and bathrooms were right next to our "table". Pizza was great but not worth the lack atmosphere. Will only do take out.

Took a special trip in town to find Figs (my husband ate there once 2 years ago). Because we came at the peak of lunch hour, we ended up sitting at the bar, rather than waiting for a table. We were promptly waited on, got drinks and bread in short order. We did have to wait a long time for the Salmon, but it was worth it. Magnificent dish! I wouldn't go here if I was in a hurry, but if you're prepared to dine, rather than rush, it is well worth it. We sat next to the pizza making station FYI and decided next time we'll come back for one of those great looking pizzas!

Figs has good food, but terrible service. We've ordered delivery multiple times and the service is always bad. When calling, they don't care about service and will leave you on hold for a very long time. They once put us on hold 3 or 4 times in a row. It usually takes much longer for the food to arrive than how long they say it will. If they say 1/2 an hour, expect 1 to 1 1/2 hours for the delivery to arrive. There are limited delivery options in the area and the food is very good, but service makes us less likely to order from them.
