Great food, poor service
I went here for lunch. I tried to call not once, not twice, but THREE times and could not get hold of anyone to place an order for take out. So I finally walk down there. I arrive at 12:29. Place my order at 12:32. They say it won't be long. At 12:55 I ask them how much longer, they say just a minute. Finally, at 1:02 I ask again. The woman is clearly angry at me. But HELLO! I've been waiting for a mother freakin half hour for a steak burrito! She then informed me I should have called in advance. Well if you answered your calls, I could have placed the order at 12 noon so that your staff would have a steak burrito ready for 1 PM.

Nothing fancy, but great execution of simple dishes at a good value in a cozy non commercial neighborhood. I'll be back.

Limited vegetarian options
Not a good place for vegetarian or vegan options. Tables are too close together for comfort and atmosphere is loud with poor acoustics.

Great Start
Very good start for El Centro. Cool atmosphere, with great street art on the wall, friendly service, and authentic Mexican food. Serving the soft opening menu now, but should be switching to the full menu by the end of next week.
