Best Fish Tacos in Town
I was a patron of the owner's cafe D in J.P. where he had fish tacos on the menu. Now he is serving his excellent food in this small Brookline location. The fish tacos are the real deal! Crispy battered white fish, white corn tortillas, shredded cabbage, salsa fresca, and this amzing "crema," a blend of sour cream, mayo, lime This is Mexican "street food" at its best. Also the cemitas poblanos are really unique. With a large flattened piece of pork milanesa served on a rich egg roll with cheese, black beans, and more, it is a wonderful blend of tastes and textures. The serve Mexican beer, elote (grilled ears of corn), and other Mexican specialties, too.
