Davide is one of those restaurants that once you find it you will return again and again. The Veal Chop was incredible and the handmade gnocchi were the best I ever had. That was just the tip of the iceberg. The service was perfect,personable and professional. They make you feel special. One of the owners Anthony over sees the dining room and is always making sure every guest is happy. I was told his Brother is the chef . This is good that means the kitchen and dining room is very well kept because these guys have pride and great work ethics which flows over to the customer. We feel like we have become not only a customer but friends with this restaurant and staff. Give them a try they are great and the dining room is all booths which makes it very confortable and romantic

We have been to Davide twice and have been impressed both times. The first time, we hosted a small (6 person) dinner party there and my guests were treated as I would have treated them in my home. Coats were taken (it was early January) and cocktails and wine were offered as we walked through the door. We ordered several appetizers and tasting plates were prepared for each diner (nothing is done family style here). The menu provides excellent options for all tastes and every meal was delicious. We recently went back with another couple for their restaurant week menu. Again, the food was superb and the service was warm and friendly. They also have an excellent wine menu and a full bar (rare for the North End area). We would highly recommend it to you for a romantic evening or dinner with friends/family.
