Authentic, hearty Korean
They deliver the real deal- spicy, saucy Korean dishes that are heavy on flavor and light on health. All of the Korean dishes are consistently great. This makes pan-Asian fusion restaurants' versions look anemic. Go with the spicy pork loin, black bean noodles and spicy buckwheat noodles. The decor is a bit gloomy but the staff and Grandma Lee are warm and efficent. Go often!

Really good Korean
The Korean food here is great - generous side dishes, flavorful main courses. The service is quick and friendly. Not sure why the previous reviewer had such a bad maki experience - I've had the sushi here and it's not bad. Sure, it's no Fugakyu or Oishii, but it's more than good enough.

Mediocre at best maki
I just tried takeout from this place. I got the Philadelphia and shrimp tempura rolls, which are what I always get when first trying out a place since they're simple and pretty hard to screw up. They were both small, which the Philly roll is at most places, but the shrimp roll was also tiny (6 little pieces), and the shrimp roll was literally just small pieces of shrimp tempura with nothing else - no lettuce, sauce, avocado, cucumber, or anything - and it wasn't cheap (over $7). The shrimp also did not seem fresh, and the roll was haphazardly put together. On the positive side, the service was fast (I guess they didn't take long making the food unfortunately). I also have no idea if their non-maki items are as poor.
