Da Vinci

We arrived Sat nite with reservations for 7PM. The hostess brought us to a table for two next to the bar. After we were seated, we noticed three empty tables for two in the main dining area. We decided not to say anything. However, by the time our salads arrived, so did all the bar patrons ready to watch the NCAA Tournament. It wasn't, long before people were standing right next to us and we literally couldn't hear each other across the table. At this point I had had it. I went to the waitress and said she had no business sitting us in the bar when I made reservations Monday and there were open tables in the main room and that our evening was being ruined by The March Madness Crowd. I went back to our table before she could even respond. About five minutes later the manager appeared, apologized and asked my wife and I to follow him. He led us to a beautiful table for two in the main room, complete with complimentary champagne. Then the chef came out and said dessert was on him. They took what was a customer service disaster and made an extraordinary recovery to give my wife and I a wonderful, evening. Bravo Da Vinci !!!

I would highly recommend this restaurant! The food was excellent and the service was perfect! I had the best past and shrimp dish I have ever had!

The only thing I can say is don't miss this place. I have sent many many Guest from the Hotel and have never had one return dissapointed, they only come back happy that I recommended such a wonderful place. The food is amazing.The service is great and the atnosphere is relaxing.Go and enjoy. Great for a special evening

I went to DaVinci yesterday and I must say that I will almost certainly come back. All in all everything was good, especially the food. The design is very unique and the outdoor patio is very nice, especially on a warm spring or summer evening. One of the things that really added a nice touch to my evening was when the chef came out to speak to us, which doesnt happen very often. I will definetly come back, and by the looks of it it might even become my new usual destination.

This restaurant was recommended by a very close friend of mine and I must say that I was very pleasently surprised. I must admit that I did not necessarily expect much since it is a relative newcomer to the 'fine dining' scene but I was very happy with my experience. To start of with the food was excellent, all the way from appetizers to the deserts - the chef fish was certainly one of the best dishes I have had in a long time. The service was on par with the food, just like anyone would expect from the price of the menu (which is actually cheaper than other comparable restaurants) and the athmosphere and design are very nice. I do not normally take the time to comment on my dining experiences but I feel that I should make an exception to command the people behind DaVinci for their fine work and hopefuly one of them read this.

After reading the only review from Barb I was hesitant to keep our reservation for 8 on Sat. night. So glad I did. From the hostess at the front desk to the person seating us to our knowledgeable, helpful waiter the evening was perfect. We were seated at a round table in the corner of the room which gave us what felt like a private dinner experience. Each dish we ordered came out in a timely manner and was truly delicious. The pastas sublime. We had the Pappardelle, and Rigatone Bolognese as well as the special for the evening of veal with fusilli which was flavorful and perfectly prepared. We had a birthday "boy" at the table and when told , the staff offered a chocolate souffle with candle as well as vanilla ice cream that was shared and enjoyed by all of us. Could not have been a better evening. I highly reccommend a visit to Da Vinci and know that we will put this on our list of favorite places.
